I have a feeling I'm not going to like the answer to this but here it goes.

family pack

movies all on my main account

downloaded games all on my account

two xbox ones, one in living room, one in bedroom

how can my kids watch a movie downstairs and me play a game upstairs?

movies only work on the account they are purchased with. The 360 allowed me to download and watch on the console with any account.

the 360 also allowed downloaded games to be played on the console with any account..

but now with my One, my kids have to sign into my account to watch a movie, which kicks me out mid game, so I sign into my kids live account, and when I try to play a game it tells me I have to buy it?

Is this for real?

Hello LEGENDARY PLANK,

Do you have the ability to use another storage device? Since you are experiencing this with all downloaded games and games that are installed on your hard drive I can only assume that if it's happening with multiple game discs that it could be related.

If you could try to remove the hard drive from your console and try a secondary storage device like a USB Flash Drive (something with anywhere from 8GB-16GB of space). If you are able to download Halo Reach to that Flash Drive and your profile to see if it
works you can then see if this is an issue with the storage device or something with the console.

This would be highly recommended before contacting phone support with this issue as they might try to tell you to do the same anyway.

Downloaded game/Downloaded content

I followed your instructions to the letter. Neither 'Halo: Reach' or 'Oblivion' will work. "Disc unreadable.". I'm totally confused as to how this can happen when there is no disc.

It works the same way with the One as long as you have one of the consoles set as your Home console (I'm not sure about the movies though).

Hey there! There is actually an active service alert for downloading games on demand from the marketplace. All you can do is wait for the situation to be resolved.

Hi there, the only thing I can think of is did you ever go through your hard drive to see if there was a partial download of the game, possibly with a yellow triangle signalling that it's corrupted?

Sometimes these corrupted partial downloads can stop it from being re-download successfully the second time. See the link for more information on deleting games from your hard drive:

Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

Thanks for the response, but they are not showing up in my Ready to Install. They are also not in my account. Might be because they are old (they are for my original Xbox One, which was about 3 years old....)
