Downloaded collections disappear without internet connection

When operating without an internet connection (such as when I'm on an airplane), only the "Landscapes" and "Wild Animals" collections appear, and none of my downloaded collections do. I've tried closing the application and restarting, as well as restarting
the tablet. Neither of these resolves the issue. Once I've got a valid internet connection again, the downloaded collections reappear. If I've downloaded these collections when I purchased them (using gold, not actual cash), why aren't they available, even
when I'm offline?

my collections keep getting deleted

i still have the original collections that i downloaded but every time i download new ones they just disappear. this is getting really freaking old.

 

Playing Offline

I have an Xbox One S and I recently just moved. I do not have internet in my apartment yet and just bought Assassins Creed Odyssey. Is there any way to play this game without internet? I've tried changing my status to offline, power cycling my xbox and then downloading the disc that I own. Every time it shows at 0.0% in the queue then disappears after a few seconds.

 

You will need to be connected to the internet in order for you to have access to your progress and purchased content, as all progress and content is attached to your Gamertag and saved in the Cloud. Please make sure to always play while logged in through
a stable connection.

 

Really? Wow. Thanks for the explanation. I've only earned downloaded collections through game play, so I don't have too much right to complain. But if I were to pay real money for a collection, then be unable to access it for lack of a live internet connection,
such as when I'm on an airplane, I'd be demanding my money back.
