That's odd, I never experienced an issue like that with fallout 76.

May I know if the game is installed on a external hard drive or internal?

And by the way, when the game disappears the storage on your drive increases?

This was a digital version of the game that was a complementary download with the purchase of the console. It was installed to the 2GB internal drive. Yes, when it disappears, the storage increases. This was the third time that this occurred when updated.

Once you copy from internal to external, the internal one will disappear after the process is done. So you are basically just moving it from one to the other. After you move all your games to the external drive. There will be a tab above your games that
lets you choose internal/external "source". If you choose internal it will show empty if you have moved all your games to the external.

Really sorry to hear that your content vanished. Are you using an external storage device or are you saving to your internal storage? Unfortunately if the content is no longer showing, you'll need to redownload the content.

Mine did something similar, not all gone but some. Internal storage. Does downloaded and installed content really just disappear?

Hopefully this simplifies a bit without derailing from the problem: Update made 4gb internal memory disappear as storage device.

When I first hooked up the device, I was able to choose between Hard drive and Internal Memory.

It was not a lot of internal memory, but I did have the choice.

Now it disappeared completely.
