    I know going through the marketplace online to retrieve a game will cause you to use internet data. However, if I purchase the game via my local game shop and download the game does it use internet data? I've went over the last month with my data usage and
    I didn't even know it was limited. Thanks!

    Download Xbox One Games

    Hi, if you purchase a disc copy of a game, it will install the data from the disc to the hard drive, and will not download the game. However, game updates may be required to play online.

    If you purchase a game-code from your local game shop, it will require you to download the game from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

    It's your call, but only the disc will not require you to download the whole game - only potential updates.

    As an added note, some games do have VERY large updates from the version on the disk. So yes you're disk based installs may have a significant impact on your usage cap. (Depending on which games you are installing, and how much your usage cap is)

    I paid for FIFA 15 & COD Advanced Warfare on xbox 360 off the market place and i was able to download them for free on xbox one but i also paid for Trials Fusion and i cant download it without paying for it again, why??????

    LE3 - It's best to create your own thread. However, some publishers do give you the option of upgrading to the One version for free or at a discounted price for a limited time. Not all games have that option though. So for some games you will have to purchase
    it again if you want it on the One.

    I pre ordered black ops 3 digitally on Xbox one but the will not start up. It keeps putting back to Xbox home every time I click the game to play it.
