£54.99 to download Titanfall!!!! WHAT!!!

£54.99 for us in the UK converts to $91. That's a lot of money for a digital download!

 

Battlefield Hardline £28 on the Hungarian Xbox Store.

Title says it all really. I believe it's £54.99 to download digitally in the UK, well looked after again I see.

 

£54.99! Totally ridiculous price for a digital MP only game.

Can be bought for £42 and even less online.

If digital prices were reasonable I'd be inclined to go down that road too.

 

*** Microsoft and EA. That is a stupid price for a multiplayer only game. Its only $60 in america and should be at least £40. Guess I'll go down the game shop and fuel the second hand market and give less to the devs. Microsoft need to sack their marketing
team.

Same game available 3 to 4 days earlier on the Canadian store for $59.99 (approx. £32.50), how can they justify £54.99 on the UK store?

Pre-order price on Amazon.co.uk was £37.00 (it's now £41.99), that's nearly £20 cheaper than the online price.

Was ready and up early to Download it this morning before work until I saw that CRAZY price,

I will pick it up for £41 on the way home...

It's disgraceful IMO..

 

Haha, I'm with you. I try to download all my games but why would I if I can get it for around £40? Hell, for £60 you can get the chat adapter and Titanfall...

MS prices don't make sense.

 

Absolute joke, Microsoft said they were trialing lowering digital download prices, as they should because you don't actually have anything physical to show for your purchase and no resell value, but to then price it at £54.99 is ridiculous, all you have
to do is go to the biggest online retailer in the world and check their price, £42 in the UK. Even if they'd just matched Amazon's price I'd download it. Very disappointing but not surprised.

 

Yeah, this price is a joke. After the launch games were a very sensible £35 I was hopefully they'd finally got digital prices right on the Xbox One. I was wrong.

Plus, new consoles are getting this game for free, and the people who've had to put up with a very buggy, non functioning as sold console, get nothing. We've basically beta tested the console and paid more for doing so. Not impressed.

 

Yep, still £55, and now I'm reading that it's got all sorts of technical issues. Was planning on waiting for a better price, but maybe I'll also wait for some updates. Seems odd, as the beta seemed like fun, but maybe some last minute improvements have caused
issues?

Wonder how many people bought it at this price... too many is my guess. They must have been annoyed when Live went down if they'd had the day off work to play.
