Download Throttling in the XBOX App

Hey everyone,

This is more of a question of why than of how. Why is there not a separate download throttling system in the Xbox app. The one i try to use in the Windows Update Delivery settings doesn't work correctly and the Xbox app seems to do whatever it wants. I request that Microsoft put a proper throttling system into the Xbox app. Because the current system is inadequate and inaccurate.

It's been like this for the past 6 months that I've been using it. The fastest I've gotten was 2.6 Mbps so it's Microsoft's doing.

It could be a server problem on Microsoft's end. There is so many users online now, that the servers are at capacity all the time. So this can affect download times.

I'm sure the servers are quite busy, but this has been happening for a couple months now. That may be the issue now but I wonder what it was back then.

While downloading games. All apps closed in background. Network test on xbox will show 700’s for download speeds. Apoears that xbox is throttling download speeds on their end as ps4 and pc are on same network and diwnload on avetage at 800 mbps. Why is
microsoft continue to do this. I will be giving ny business to Playstation moving forward
