    I recently bought an Xbox series X in Texas, US, I was staying x-mas at my brother's. All ok but, I noticed that playing online was very laggy, at first I thought that was the Wi-Fi or ISP my brother told me that he has fast internet but, it might be because
    I was connected through wifi so I didn't bother much.

    Once back at home I have a 300mbps internet, which is ok, and the option of connecting by ethernet. But it was the same! then I started to get worried, I called the ISP techs and they checked everything, all devices at home were ok and all speed test on
    other devices were giving close to 300mbps.

    My console is only recognizing 7-9mbps, making eternal download a game or update, and playing online impossible.

    My last try was visiting a friend with a different internet provider. His Xbox was getting 90mbps and mine still around 7mbps! how's this possible? (He had 250mbps service).

    I've clear the MAC, changed the port numbers, factory reset, tried 3 different ISP, wireless and Wi-Fi connections, and of course, all apps and games closed.

    Please help! I've been struggling for a couple of weeks now.

    After a very slow download and getting the same error I was able to download the game to my Series X to test it. There may be a problem with the download servers for this game, try installing it again in a few days.

    Slow Download speeds for Xbox Series S

    I’ve been noticing very slow download speeds on my Xbox Series S. I have a fibre network connection, and ran a speedtest showing around 950 MBps download and 950 MBps upload. When i download a game or app on Xbox, that number drops to around 50-100 MBps. It sometimes gets to 350-400, but it’s rare. Are the microsoft servers just slow?
    Where did you perform the througput test? On your Xbox?
