Download Speed 0kbps-4mbps... Have 100mbps connection.

Trying to update Destiny 2 yesterday and did not know I would be seeing the downfall of Microsoft's Game Pass App for PC unfold in front of my eyes.

I have done so many things to my PC that I am convinced I've done more damage than an average hacker does in a lifetime. Why is it that three days ago, there were zero issues (zero issues beforehand as well), and now... Monday, November 8th 2022 I am having so many problems with one download.

I've done commands with Powershell.. I've changed the settings.. I've done all the things I could and have read with ZERO change in my problem. Correction. First it was a simple 900MB file download which has turned into a complete reinstall of this game. I have installed Destiny 2 TWICE on Steam while Microsoft Game Pass/Store is not even 50%. This issue is due to Microsoft. I am blown away at how many articles there are in regard to this issue, yet those solutions are not solutions for me.

I am asking for help.. not a post giving more options.. no. I would like to reach out and see if there is someone out there willing to help guide me (discord screen share) through trying to solve this problem. I am going to say this... People spend hundreds of dollars on software from Microsoft (the operating system alone) yet... the consumer has to have some type of knowledge of computers to attempt to fix any issues. Like, getting sick and having to self-diagnose, and self-treat but still pay the doctor to do any of it.

Ruiiner, your slow download error means that your network settings are blocking a "clean" connection with the live servers, this is quite common, my friend.

To solve it, just configure

If you do not have knowledge, I advise you to contact the ISP that they will do for you

set a fixed ip for the console/PC, open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Put console/PC IP in DMZ zone.

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

You can ask ISP(Internet Service Provider) for help

Yes 4MBPs... normally downloads at 500KBps on the laptop but its not reaching those speeds on xBox downloads... more like 100KBps.

How will I know the difference if I don't have a TV to be able to see it through when connected to the ethernet cable? :S

Connecting a 100Mbps NIC isn't going to slow your network down. My entire network is gigabit speed, with the exception of a 100Mbps NIC in my network printer and Xbox 360. I still get transfer speeds of over 100MB/s between PCs. 100Mbps is more than enough
for any HD stream.

MCGaminX I can assure you that my 100Mbps internet connection is not being taxed by the 500kbps average download speed provided by the download
store and it is certainly not being throttled by my ISP. btw I'm coming up on 19 hours for this download and it is still reporting 2 hours to complete although I have downloaded 65.73 GB of 66.31 GB. Is it really going to take 2 hours to download approximately
600MBytes over a 100Mbps connect? Please.

Not able to install Forza Horizon 5 from the xbox app or microsoft store, the download speed is just too low even though my internet connection is working fine with a stable download and upload speed of 100mbps.

Please help!!
