Download movie from micrsoft store to hdd on one like you could on the 360

Mr. Switch, can I copy home movies to the HDD?

I'd like to replace the PS3s on both my TVs with XBOX Ones, but I need the ability to play my MPEG2s (1080i60, or better yet 1080p60) from the HDD. I can't copy these to the 360 HDD. Any chance of allowing this for the XBOX One? I know it's probably a
piracy concern, but if the files could be capped at under 10 minutes just for home movies?

Hey there, so you're re-downloading previously purchased movies on to a new HDD? With TV shows and movies Unfortunately, you cannot transfer film and TV show licences from one console to another because of licensing restrictions.

So it looks like you only get 1 license per console. More information here:

If I buy a movie or rent a movie on the Xbox video store, could I also download that on my Xbox 360 for the price of a one time purchase?

Unfortunately themes and gamerpics from the 360 do not work with the One.

Not all of the same apps are available, but you can redownload apps from the Xbox store. You'll want to download the Movies and TV app and you should be able to see your movies there.

Kenomac already pointed out that he uses the drive for movies and music. The 360 has always supported read-only of media from HFS+ and FAT32-formatted HDDs. Third party media files are not stored on trusted 360 storage space (USB MU, HDD) and are not accessed
from System Settings, Memory.
