    Download issues with Microsoft store and Games pass PC


    I was attempting to download Metro Exodus onto my computer using my Games Pass subscription, then, after a while, I decided to cancel the download and do it later in the day, but the download will not cancel properly. Whenever I attempt to cancel the download,
    it immediately starts again with the same progress it just had. I have the same outcome whether I attempt to cancel it using the Xbox app or Microsoft store. wsreset.exe and restarts of my computer have not helped.

    The download does not seem to be progressing, but at the same time, I am unable to start the download up again, since the system keeps saying that the game is being downloaded when there is no progression, and my attempts to cancel the download have failed.
    It doesn't even stay canceled long enough for me to click the button to start the install again.

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd like to play the game, and would rather not have to factory reset my computer to be able to fix this issue.

    I've been trying both, and have restarted my computer multiple times. Still not working.

    Are you trying to manage this via the Xbox App or via the Windows Store? I would recommend trying the other, and seeing if that has a difference. I'd also recommend restarting the computer and seeing if that helps in allowing you to change the status
    of the install.
