Download From 360 To Xbox One For Reduced Price

So I went on the internet to see why I couldn't just get it for free (still got no answers for that). However I did see that it was $4.99 if I had the 360 version. I looked at the Xbox store and it was $20 even though I did have it for the 360. What do
I do to fix this?

Hello VersedGraph3861, regarding your question, you can indeed download games through your Xbox 360, using the Games on Demand. You can find that on your Xbox 360 looking under the Games tab on your Xbox Dashboard. Games on Demand will allow you to purchase
and download full games at a reduced price or the current retail price.

Im having the same trouble and the support said they cant do anything. This is ridiculous im not paying full price for a game i own on 360 ;-;

i have heard you have to have an active save file for the 360 version for the game for it to show at that price so i would suggest if you have one go to your 360 uplaod to the cloud then find the version on your one and see if it shows the new price and
if not gamestop has a 5 dollar upgrade but i am unaware as to how that works but give what i said a try.

Are you definitely using the same account that purchased it on 360?

Check your download history here:

live.xbox.com/.../history

If you do not see Minecraft there, it was another account that paid for and downloaded the game originally; you will need to use that account on the Xbox One to get the reduced price.
