Downgrading to an Xbox 360 to play older games - nothing in "my games" despite same account.

Hi, looking for some help.

I have just got an xbox series X so have down-graded my xbox One to a Xbox 360 so I can access some of my old games that were not backward compatible.

I have manged to log in using my account & re-downloaded safe files I had stored on the cloud, however, the "My Games" section linked to the account is empty. Everything is still showing up on my Xbox app & Xbox X, but on the 360 its as if nothing is there. I'm not sure if its an issue because the profile is connected to the Xbox one, or if something has changed in the last 10+ years.

I've searched for a couple of games on the console I remember owning that are not on the xbox X, they apear as free, but I am not sure if this is as I have now got the Xbox game pass, or if it is because I once owned them.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Games section will only show games you have installed. You want to go to your download history to download games to the console. Go to Settings. then Account, and under Billing Options you'll see Download History. That'll list all content you own for the 360.

Yeah I have this same issuer when I tried to play an older 360 game on my Xbox One (Perfect Dark). It keeps telling me my gold account has expired despite it being last billed December 1st, 2017. Not sure what is going on here.

Yeah but it it's still Xbox live. Xbox One players should be able to play the same game with people that are playing it on the 360. It is possible because the PS4 games can be played on the Vita but with downgraded graphics

the xbox one account is also the xbox 360 account, they are the same

just sign into the xbox 360 with the same account as your xbox one.

your old xbox 360 account will most likely be attached to an older email account, nothing can be transferred.

I can't download it from my account as I suffered the account being lost despite having the same email which is now strangely used for another account.

Then I'm afraid it's impossible to play now.

The Xbox One doesn't play Xbox 360 games natively, all Xbox 360 games have to be converted to run on the system. Xbox one consoles also can not read USB flash drives formatted on an Xbox 360.
