I purchased xbox adapter recently, and not sure if it's original or not. Seller says it's imported.

But from what it seems, it looks strange to me, probably is not genuine

It looks to be fake, I suggest taking it back to the store where you bought it.

It overheats a lot, and interfere with my wifi network a lot. So can you tell me if it's genuine or not.

The adapter is needed if you're using a One S or X. If you're using the original Xbox One, the adapter is not needed. You can see information about the adapter at https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/accessories/kinect-adapter

As stated, the adapter has been discontinued so it is no longer being given away for free. They're mostly found through places like ebay.
