Doubled billed for EA ACCESS

    Correct but they couldn't, didn't and wouldn't. I asked them to confirm whether or not another account was billing to my card, I didn't want details of the account just confirmation that there was another account charging it, and they refused citing privacy...
    Load of nonsense. I have worked for past 20 years on billing and CRM systems and this is possibly a Microsoft billing problem but they refuse to admit it and refuse to refund the over charging and are making me go back to my bank to lodge a complaint thru
    them for services charged but not delivered. All fine because if Microsoft want to fight, I'm happy to kick them, they are nothing but a shower of numpties.....

    Unfortunately I can't love the Xbox support at all because I cannot get them to respond......as mentioned, once I put in anything into the automated chat that refers to billing, it tries to take me to a 'human' who never responds........I did try putting
    in details to take out a new account and had a very different experience whereby I could see a queue with numbers on the queue but nothing like this when I mention billing.

    So, as said, experience with Microsoft support team sucks and I am not seeing any way to even request a refund or a check to ensure that there is not a second account lurking somewhere. Any level of support at all would be progress......

    OK so the money situation is clear we are talking Euros and not USD.

    The thing is this you are talking about TWO different accounts and TWO different subscriptions IF your son did put a trial on and did not cancel the auto renew the system does not know that there is another account in the same household with the same subscription.
    So this would be why you were being charged two times monthly for the subscription it is not a computer error.

    The only thing you would be able to do is to contact Xbox support at this point to see what they can do for you.

    And if you want to cancel the second subscription you would need to sign into your sons account at account.microsoft.com/services and cancel the subscription otherwise you are going to continue to be charged for that subscription too unless you have already
    cancelled both subscriptions.

    You say that you cancelled the subscription.

    Did you do this on your account?

    You also said that you think your son may have signed up for a trial of it and that subscription was never cancelled.'

    Have you checked his account to see if this is the case?

    You can either sign into his account at account.microsoft.com/services and check

    Or

    Sign into his account on the Xbox console and go to settings and under the account tab there should be a choice for subscriptions and it will show you any active subscription there.

    This is more than likely what happened and why you are being billed 2 times a month unless you have signed into your account at account.microsoft.com and checked the order history there to see if both charges are on your account and if it was truly being
    billed twice monthly to your account.

    EA access on a monthly basis is actually 4.99 USD and you said you were being charged 3.99 so you definitely want to check your order history to see exactly what that 3.99 charge was for.
