double profile in the xbox account

good afternoon I wanted to comment on the following

create an xbox account associated with an outlook account which I have long ago associated with games and advances thereof

currently that email account is associated with another profile that is not the one I create

How can I unlink that profile from my email account?

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. If you have access to both accounts, then you can do a "shuffle" of the account email alias to free it up for use on your other account. You can find the instructions on how to make the changes in our support
article entitled How to change the email address associated with your Microsoft account that will detail on how
to make changes to the email alias used for sign in.

Just change the email address on the account and add it to the another account if you want.

Hi, try removing and adding the account back to the Xbox. I'd also double check the code was redeemed on the correct account.
