    Double billed for 2 different movies and "status code: c101a3ff"


    I have an XBOX 360 and have been double billed for 2 differrent movie purchases as well as recieving a "status code: c101a3ff". There is no reset option on xbox 360. I would like to get my money back for the double billing and watch the movies I have paid
    for.

    I rented a movie, purchase completed, when I push play the playback error comes up with status code c101a3ff, I look up the code, and there's nothing.

    I have cleared the system cache about 20 times. It's not affecting the error message.

    Hi there,

    I'm sorry to hear about the current problem trying to play the movies. Since so far clearing the cache hasn't made any changes let's attempt another troubleshooting step.

    I suggest to remove the profile from the Xbox 360 and re-download the profile. This won't affect the profile in any way it will just refresh the account on the console.

    Here’s how you can remove any Xbox profile from your Xbox 360 console:

    1. Go to settings and select System.
    2. Select Storage.
      Note If you don’t connect any external storage devices to your console, select
      Hard Drive. If you do use external storage, select All Devices.
    3. Select Profiles.
    4. Select the Xbox profile that you want to delete.
    5. Select Delete.
    6. Select one of the following:
    • Delete Profile Only – This deletes the Xbox profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
    Here’s how to add your Xbox profile to any Xbox 360 console:

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
    2. Select Download Profile.
      Note Not seeing Download Profile? This means that you’re signed in under another profile. Press the
      X button on your controller to sign out, confirm, and then select
      Download Profile.
    3. At the bottom of the Download Profile screen, select
      Download Profile
      .
    Side Note: It is very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing it from the console.

    Wasted over an hour with resetting my password(why does the Microsoft website accept my longer, 17-digit password, but xbox360 only accepts 16-digit???) Did not work after downloading profile, again. The message window still reads "Playback Error", Status
    code: c101a3ff. Help.
