    Hi everyone, not long time ago I had saw an DOOM the dark ages icon in xbox mobile app, and I installed it, I won't tell what was there, but I try to reinstall it to the to another disk, for a 7 hours game could not be deleted, and I couldn't to watch some games installing in "action installing", so thats all that I have to tell

    How can I disable automatic updates of XBox GamePass for PC games, or at least actually update instead of re-download the entire game every time?

    For DOOM Dark Ages it originally showed a 60GB+ download. I restarted the store and XBox app and then it correctly showed an ~800MB update. Once that finished downloading it said the update failed. When I tried restarting it it kicked off the 60GB download again. When I look in my XBoxGames folder, DOOM Dark Ages is gone so it appears that on failed update it just deleted the whole game or something? I'll restate again that I have not made any changes to the game. I have just installed it, updated graphics drivers, and then played it.

    Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum,I apologize for a delay in response.

    It may be due to the Premium Upgrade, they may have purchased it to get early access. There is a DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Upgrade which you can purchase separately to get the Premium benefits which includes the 2-Day Early Access. It's just an upgrade, so it does not include base game.

    I can understand your concern and please don't worry I am here to help you.

    As a first step I would recommend repairing the app from your computer by following these steps: Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Then look for Xbox app then click the 3 dots icon next to it and select Advanced options. After that scroll down and click the Repair option.

    If the error still appears I recommend you to follow the same process as before but now select the “Reset” option.

    If you refer to the xbox mobile app on your mobile, try logging out and logging in again, and also uninstall and install the app.
