Doom Eternal Multiplayer on PC not working

    Doom Eternal Multiplayer on PC not working


    When I load the game, it immediately says there was an issue connecting with the online services. I've tried updating Windows and it hasn't worked. I've tried making a rule in my firewall to allow Doom Eternal to connect to the servers, but I really struggled with finding the executable to make the rule. I've even tried unlinking my Bethesda account and Xbox account, which still didn't solve the problem. If anyone has any leads at all, it would be really appreciated.

    Can you advise us of what your firewall application is please?

    It's not possible to add an exception via the games' main executable like you can with other applications as PC Games Pass titles and Windows Store purchased games are stored in an encrypted folder that is not directly readable by third party applications.

    We need to know what firewall you're using as we may be able to find a workaround.

    Doom Eternal is available for the console through Game Pass, but not PC.

    I tried downloading from the store via web browser, and this is what it gives me. I know my computer can run it, as i can run Nvidia GeForce 1660Ti, with a Ryzen 7 4800H. 16GB onboard RAM

    doom eternal is available on pc from steam or bethesda, yes microsoft are buying them but that has not been finalised yet until next year, chromebook will not run doom eternal unless your running and android OS and using xcloud.
