Doom Eternal major error, aparently random

Hello! So I've been having this error for around two weeks, right after NVIDIA drivers got updated. The error is that when I open the game, it has this unintended grain effect and the fps drop from 300 in the menu to 30. After that, it usually crashes when I press anything. Sometimes it crashes in the "press left-click to start" screen, sometimes when I try to open a save, and sometimes when I try to close the game. Other few times it doesnt crash at all, but its unplayable with 30 fps and that annoying grain.
It also happens to restart my windows 10 every time it crashes. Just like that; the screen goes black and my computer restarts.

I've tried multiple things to try and solve it, I've googled it and posted in reddit, but nothing so far. Sometimes, aparently randomly, the game works well, and I can play with everything on ultra and 144 stable fps.

Doom eternal is the only game that has this issue. Any ideas? I'm startting to get desperate.

Things I've tried: uninstalling and installing again, scanning for driver updates, disabling RTX, tweaking pretty much every video setting, open the game as an administrator, moving it from ssd to hdd.

I agree with MateusFontana. DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) is efficient and highly recommended free application to safety remove misbehaving graphics card drivers. I've used it a number of times and I have an RTX 2080.

Before you run DDU, manually download the latest driver from NVIDIA and store it in easy to access folder. Then run DDU to remove your old driver.

Then install the driver you downloaded earlier.

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community, due to what you told us that this issue started happening after the latest Nvidia driver version was installed, I would recommend you uninstall this driver and try and install an older version.

You could be doing this if you have some restore point created on your pc, where you could use this point to roll back the driver update to the version that didn't have the problem.

You can also uninstall the driver using third-party software, below is a video that teaches you to step by step which program to use to do this.

Another thing I would recommend you do is contact game support as well, as from what you said the problem only happens with doom, maybe due to an incompatibility with the Nvidia driver you installed. To contact them please use the link below.

Thanks! I'll contact bethesda first before uninstalling any drivers, as doom is indeed the only game I had this problem with. Thanks again, also for providing an easy link to their support.
