Dont know to install Sea fo thieves on pc when i have bought it on xbox

So I am trying to install sea of thieves after recently getting a gaming pc but I don't know how to the game sea of thieves says that its a xbox play anywhere game but as soon as I click on to it says that it isn't available anymore which means that I
have to buy the anniversary edition which is an extra £40.00 pounds for Sea Dog Hat, Jacket, Cutlass, Pistol, Compass, Ship Sails and 10,000 gold.
That makes no sense you don't even get a ship hull but whatever any thoughts on how I can install the game without spending extra £40.00 pounds for basically nothing. I just want to add that sea of thieves is shown/advertised as a xbox play anywhere

Hi Dylan,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Make sure you are signed into the same account as on the Xbox.

Ensure you've installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on your Windows 10 PC.
Open the Windows Store.
Search for your game using the search bar.
Select the game once it appears under the suggestions.
Click Install on the listing that appears.

I have this identical issue. Cannot install sea of thieves when I had bought it a long time ago. still have order receipt

Just To be clear,

I can download sea of thieves on my pc even if it's says that I bought or for Xbox one?

I advice that you go to My Games & Apps and press the Select button over Sea of Thieves to administer the game and check if the Add-On is there ether already installed or under ¨Ready to Install¨ if not then the Developers of Sea of Thieves have said that
they know this issue and those who haven't gotten their Pre Order bonuses automatically when installing the game digitally they will send the add-ons to you in a Xbox Message.
