hello,

Since the 4k update I don't have access to my dlc from the ultimate edition. go

Before the update everything worked fine.

If I go to manage game the dlc is installed but when i go to the Microsoft store it says product installed and right under that it says buy to own.

Now on my old Xbox it says product owned and right under that I have the option to install the dlc, after installing it's working great on my old Xbox.

Now I have contacted Microsoft support and we can not find any redeem code for the dlc, this is really strange since I redeemed it back in 2016.

So how is it possible I can download the dlc on my old Xbox and not on the one x with the same account?

I only have and use one account.

Unfortunately there is no way with access to the parent email.

The adultness of your account is determined by the birthdate that was entered when you created the account.

If, according to that birthdate, your account is 18 years (or 20 if you're in Korea), then you automatically get an adult account that doesn't need parental accounts to make your settings.

Also, the parental email that is used, is "only" a username that looks like an email. If the parent that set up the parental account still knows the password, they can sign in under
Sign in to your Microsoft account without having access to the actual email.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft game.

Based on your description, the error suggests that the system can't find the Minecraft game license on your Microsoft account.

Your Minecraft account must have migrated to the original email address where it was first created.

In order to fix this, you will need to find the Microsoft account where your Minecraft was migrated and where your Minecraft game license was purchased.

Note: After the migration, the Minecraft transaction should appear under the Microsoft account's order history regardless if the game was purchased on the Mojang website before.

Kindly sign in to all of your email accounts on account.microsoft.com > order history > select the date of range when you purchased your Minecraft game.

From there, check if you have the Minecraft transactions. If you have found the transactions, use the same Microsoft account to log out and re-login to the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Launcher.

If you're unable to find the Minecraft game transaction, this can only mean that the game was purchased on a different email account. Please check your other Microsoft email accounts' order history.

Just a heads up, even on a digital game code, you should see this on your order history as being redeemed. If it is not there, there is a big possibility that you may have bought or redeemed this on a different account. If you only see there Minecraft for Windows, then you should be able to play this on PC without problems from your account but the issue is on your Xbox One because they should be separated as they have different license for each platforms. If you do not see on your history Minecraft for Xbox as being redeemed or purchased, please check other accounts to verify where it was redeemed in the first place.

Have you checked your order history if the Minecraft Xbox One edition was purchased on there before?

If not, that could be the reason why it will not let you access the game and will let you buy it again.

If you believe that this was purchased before, try checking other accounts if there was a purchase on that specific game and might just have been shared on the console for you to play it on your main account.

The PC version was provided as a code I believe so you can redeem that to any account.

You can also check if you own the game by going to the Xbox app and checking your library for owned games.

- As I stated in the original post, I purchased the Xbox One S 'Minecraft Edition.' I own the game through a digital code.

- The code in my purchase history simply says "Minecraft for Windows." If it was a PC-only code, then why was I able to still access Minecraft Windows edition on my Xbox previously, but cannot do so now? The way I see it: I got a game with my Xbox to play on my Xbox, Microsoft buys up Mojang, gives me a code to play Minecraft on my PC, then takes away all forms of me playing Minecraft on my Xbox. Does this make sense?
