Discus and support Dolby Vision Problem On Xbox Series X in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have an Xbox Series X , and a LG CX tv which has Dolby Vision @ 4k 120FPS.     Dolby Vision Problem On Xbox Series X


    I have an Xbox Series X , and a LG CX tv which has Dolby Vision @ 4k 120FPS. I have had my tv for 2 months and everything has worked flawlessly... until now... In the xbox setting under TV details everything has always been check marked green including Dolby Vision @ 60 & 120 FPS. TOday I got on Cold War (disk) and noticed my TV would black out for a split second I figured it was wierd until it kept doing it every minute. Thats when I checked my setting in my Xbox and noticed that " Dolby Vision @ 120 FPS was not checkled marked anymore... Dolby Vision 60FPS however was still...? So iI hard rest my Xbox , Checked my Hdmi ( and unplugged and re-plugged both sides) and also restarted my TV. ( and yes my FreeSync is OFF). This is pretty annoying considering that this has always worked until randomly today i have also checked for updates on my TV and I am all up to date... Anyone else experiencing this or better yet Know How To Fix It? Thanks

    green flickers when going to dashboard.xbox series x

    I have a series x connected to a Philips Amerlight 65pus8535 I get 5he silver metallic screen playing x/s dedicated games and it also appears while using Disney plus app from my tv apps! Is this a problem with my tv or is it a Dolby vision problem, I have turned off the dolby for gaming and this worked but in the detail list on my Xbox series x it says that the dolby vision may experience distortion?

    How do I make Dolby vision become active on 4 k uhd disc play back even when allow box has been ticked

    Hi I have a Xbox series x with a Dolby vision compatible tv also will the allow Dolby vision playback selected in settings on and it still only displays in HDR only when playing 4k blu rays ? I have set it 4k 60hz and the games display in Dolby vision plus streaming apps but not 4k disc playback! Is this correct that the xbox series can’t do this ?

    I do know about the gaming part. I was asking the question if the Xbox Series X could have the Dolby Vision added into the BluRay app so, that 4K BluRay movies can enjoy Dolby Vision as well.

    I got a response from Customer Service: no support for Dolby Vision on Blu-ray app on Xbox One X at the moment (not even on Xbox Series X).

    They said they are working on that, since a lot of people made complaints about this issue. I hope it's true, it's ridiculous to not support Dolby Vision nowadays on a device that has been promoted as a valid Blu-ray player.

    I had the exact same problem which didn't start until today, and I use my Xbox Series X every day..

    Starting today, running any game would show me a screen like the op showed.

    I turned off Dolby Vision on my LG 55C2 like Jesse Mass suggested (THANK YOU!) and that completely fixed the problem.

    With regards to Dolby Vision...

    So it's either a TV update that went through (current software version 03.33.65) and changed something (but I didn't notice a recent update), or the Xbox changed something (though the last Xbox update was over a month ago).

    So I turned off Dolby Vision in the Xbox's video settings and now everything works fine (except for no Dolby Vision).
