    Dolby Atmos won't stay on when Xbox One X gets turned off, then back on


    Every time i turn the Xbox on i have to turn Dolby Atmos back on. It works perfectly fine, but it's just annoying to have to turn it on every time i turn the Xbox on. It's on an LG C8. Anyone else having this issue or know how to resolve it?

    Yes it supports Atmos. I looked in the settings but haven't found anything that i think would fix it. Guess i could be missing something there.

    As mentioned, this is a bug. If you're in the insider program you can add you feedback to the ticket and give that team more feedback.

    I've had the same issue. I think it's an HDMI handshake issue. I can't remember the exact order I have to do thing, but I think it I turn the console on before the receiver and TV I have to turn Atmos on manually.

    I do have it set to turn the tv on when i turn on the xbox so i just need to turn that off and turn the TV on first. Can't test it right now, but it sounds like that is the issue. Thanks for the help everyone!
