    Dolby Atmos not working on Xbox Series X


    Hello,

    I tried researching this topic and root causing my issue but I'm still not able to hear audio when I set my receiver to Dolby Atmos. I have a new Denon receiver (AVR-S760S) and an Xnoc Series X connected via HDMI. The receiver is connected to my new 4k projector (Viewsonic PX748-4K) via another ultra high speed HDMI.

    I have changed the settings on the Xbox to Dolby Atmos for home theater, and checked the box to "let my receiver decode audio."

    My speaker setup is 5.1.2. I have also downloaded the dolby access app on the Xbox and it's stating everything is ready for atmos.

    I've put in both a 4k movie (that has atmos) and tried a couple different shows on apps that state atmos, but on my receiver when I change the sound mode to atmos....silence. all other sound settings, including dolby surround, work fine.

    Any guidance is truly appreciated!

    No dolby atmos when streaming

    I have the problem that Netflix Dolby Atmos is not working with the x box S, if I try to play a series with Dolby Atmos, then Netflix give the text:

    This title can not play try later?

    Configuration is ok at the x box s and all other content without Dolby Atmos will play correct.

    If someone have a solution?

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    Netflix Not Outputting Dolby Atmos On Xbox One

    I have had the same issue with Netflix and Apple TV (a few months), no Dolby Atmos, although there is a label Dolby Atmos at the title and chosen track with Dolby Atmos in the application. My AVR shows a PCM input signal for this application.

    My setup is: Xbox Series X - Denon AVR X3700H - TV Samsung 75Q80T

    Well yes. The problem is constant. Whenever you’re in a game that uses Dolby atmos or even on Netflix through the series x. It needs a software patch to fix it. Delay is present on all Dolby atmos content
