    Dolby Atmos not working on latest Alpha build


    I can't believe I just noticed, but my Dolby Atmos has not been working all weekend. I just filed a report, and I tried to do a media trace and it would just go to the Xbox Insider app dashboard when I returned to the app, so I just did a normal report.

    I have an LG OLED C9 with a Nakamichi Shockwafe Elite 7.2 connected via ARC HDMI port and Xbox One X connected to LG with latest firmware for all devices.

    Was working prior to latest build, now it only says Dolby Audio. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Dolby app. Tried unhooking power and HDMI cables from all devices for 5 minutes and powering on and reconnecting and it still doesn't work so I think something must be broken in this build.

    Audio settings totally screwed up on XB1S

    I have the same issue since the latest alpha update that was released October 27th. Before I had bitstream out and dolby Atmos. Now only 7.1 PCM.

    But my blu rays are working with dolby Atmos. I hope this get patched with the next update.

    Hello!! I'm in the alpha skip ahead. With the last build the problem is fixed. Now it's multichannel in the dashboard, when you load an atmos game the display will change in atmos. Same for netflix.
    This is fantasic news! Thanks. So just to be clear it seems that Microsoft solved it? Or did Dolby Access get an alpha update?

    Are you an Insider? There seemed to be problems with Dolby Atmos during the latest builds.

    As for me, i'm Insider too, i use the Atmos App with my xbox hooked to an Pioneer VSX 1122 by optical cable. I choosed the optical headset option in sound settings and it's working like a charm with all games and apps.
