    Dolby Atmos not Working on Alpha?


    Hello everyone,

    I have a 75Inch Vizio Quantum, a Vizio Dolby Atmos sound system, and a Series X.

    I have the Series X routed into the Sound Bar, and the TV out coming out of the sound bar, into my TV.

    This is supposed to allow Dolby Atmos, which was working for a couple weeks but has now since stopped. I have tried different cables and rearranging things with no success. Dolby Atmos IS selected under sounded as well, and eArc is on with Passthrough enabled.

    I paid for an Atmos sound bar, and it has worked previously. So any help would be appreciated.

    Audio settings totally screwed up on XB1S

    I have the same issue since the latest alpha update that was released October 27th. Before I had bitstream out and dolby Atmos. Now only 7.1 PCM.

    But my blu rays are working with dolby Atmos. I hope this get patched with the next update.

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    If the game does not support Dolby Atmos, then the audio is normal stereo. Microsoft are working on updating Dolby Atmos, where if the game does not support Dolby, the audio will be converted to simulate Dolby Atmos.

    Hello!! I'm in the alpha skip ahead. With the last build the problem is fixed. Now it's multichannel in the dashboard, when you load an atmos game the display will change in atmos. Same for netflix.
    This is fantasic news! Thanks. So just to be clear it seems that Microsoft solved it? Or did Dolby Access get an alpha update?

    Ok guys thanks for sharing, the fact is that many games work fine with dolby atmos, so the problem are the games or the app of dolby atmos. AC Odissey,Valhalla and CP2077 for example works fine with Dolby ATMOS audio and ms wireless headset. Gears 5 and Shadow of tomb raider for example work very badly with dolby atmos.
