    Dolby Atmos issue after latest Skip Ahead update


    There is no sound in headset or external speakers while Dolby Atmos is active, Switched back to stereo uncompressed in my settings and it’s working normally again. Did a power cycle for good measure and still no effect.

    Dolby Atmos on XBOX ONE X connected to DENON X3600H

    No, it's not the dolby app. It's the latest skip ahead build that fixed the problem. Anyway dolby laboratories said that the problem was only cosmetic because it was coding real atmos even without displaying that on the receiver. My problem was different
    because i needed to have the speaker Virtualization (i don't have speakers on the ceiling). Without the receiver reading Atmos on the display i can't enable speaker Virtualization. Now it's fixed. Sorry for my english.

    Hi have you contacted support over this? My one x updated fine I've had the update for a month or two now with the alpha skip ahead release, and the only issue I seem to get is that the dolby atmos app sometimes needs redownloading for the system to recognise
    it but then it works fine for weeks.

    It's definitely not an AV issue. If you take a minute to type the issue into google search drive you'll find all different dolby atmos setups with different sound systems and Tv's that are very capable of providing dolby atmos and you'll find they all have the same issue with no solution.

    I have the latest LG G1 OLED with the latest SP11RA dolby atmos soundbar with the same issue. the games are unplayable in Dolby atmos due to the delay. I have it changed to 7.1 for gaming, but I purchased the system to play dolby atmos gaming.

    Audio settings totally screwed up on XB1S

    I have the same issue since the latest alpha update that was released October 27th. Before I had bitstream out and dolby Atmos. Now only 7.1 PCM.

    But my blu rays are working with dolby Atmos. I hope this get patched with the next update.
