    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your console.

    Any restart during an update or reset process normally doesn't take longer than 5 minutes, so I'm afraid your console should've restarted by now.

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

    - If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason to do an offline system update? were you getting a startup error?

    - Could you try manually turning it back on? please let me know what you see on your screen when you do.

    Hi, I'm using xbox oneS. I did get a startup error. Have tried the other options with support on the phone. Last ditch effort offline update. I powered it back on after 30 min and it went back to the startup error screen. Attempting again as Itype

    Umm you could never download updates

    You can download the offline updater but you do know that the console is no longer supported right ?

    Hasn't been for the past 3 years

    You can download online updates but there won't be system updates

    As others have said, it's part of the new system update and everyone has it, the only way to keep the tabs would be to have an Xbox One that hasn't been updated, turn it on, not do the system update, and take it offline, and keep it offline, but then
