Does your home button cause your screen to look pixelated

so I have this problem happen, sometimes when iI a back out of game I hit the home button and I get this ugly screen. Is my xbox 1 x busted. Or is it my TV that it doesn't like?

Xbox One Feb. update delayed from today to later this week

just press the xbox light button on your controller and it will show you at the bottom right of the home screen

So is there no more quit?

If you actually want to quit hit the 'home' button. Once home your game should still be playing on a smaller screen. Press 'menu'(start on the 360 controller) while the game screen is highlighted and scroll down to 'quit'.

Try using the ASPECT button on your remote to cycle through the various picture sizes and look for one called either Scan, 16:9, or Screen Fit. It could be that you have the picture set to zoom and therefore pixelation is being caused.

Hey there csf!

Is that pixel only in that one corner? It doesn't look like anything overly wrong if it's only on the home screen, and when you change the resolution to 720p that pixel is probably off the screen.

Do you see this pixel anywhere other than the home screen (playing games, watching Netflix, etc)?

If you mean pixels then it could be an issue with the HDMI cable or the HDMI port on either your tv or console.

Are the squares there when just on the home screen?

Hi Teeniest Mango3,

Look on your XBOX console and see if the emails are the same. When you log on go to the home screen by hitting the Guide button ( the center button) on your controller and select xbox home. while there, watch the top right of your screen and the email and
your gamertag will scroll there.

If the emails are the same, you will need to contact phone support at 1-800-4MYXBOX because you will need to have it looked at by an agent.

If the emails are different, then that is why you see 2 different gamer tags.
