    Does Xbox Series X have a built in surge protector?


    It was said by Microsoft/Xbox on the later model Xbox one X it had a built in surge protector and you should plug it directly into a wall so as not to daisy chain surge protectors.

    So does that hold the same for the new Series X model? Does the new series X model have a built in surge protector or not? If it does are they still recommending it be plugged directly into the wall outlet and not a surge protector?

    If the Series X has a surge protector can it be plugged into a Battery Backup(UPS)?

    All xbox consoles have a built in surge protector,including the Series X/S & should be plugged into the wall socket directly.

    I havr a direct pmultiplug but only cause my tv isn't close to any other

    But I would leave your tv or xbox connected during a bad storm

    Whether you have the power brick on the original Xbox One or the One S or upcoming X. The PSU also doubles as a surge protector.
