    Does Xbox/Microsoft support racism, and racist gamertags?


    Well the profile I reported has a racist profile name(mod removed) and nothings been done about it. So I just thinking why I was banned for cursing, this guy out for basically cheating on the game GTA 5, nothing new with cheaters these days, but on to my point, this guy has an active racist profile name and nothing was done about it. I totally understand that harassment and cursing at someone is not approved/allowed/tolerable, i completely understand my punishment. But why hasn't this profile name or xbox been banned? Seriously the name is [mod removed], this isnt the 1600s. How has this gone undetected.

    I cant believe im asking this question online, does microsoft/xbox support racism then?

    No. They definitely don't support racism. But as long as you reported them, the enforcement team will investigate and take the appropriate action. Investigations can take time though so it won't always take place immediately. I think they also do things like forced gamertag changes in waves.
