    Does using the XIM APEX dongle to use a mouse and keyboard on games that aren't...


    We all know that a lot of people already use it but I want to know if it's allowed. I know that Xbox allows the use of Mouse and Keyboard now but I need to be sure if they only allow it on games that have been updated to be compatible for simple plug and play.

    Example: I know I can play Smite with mouse and keyboard without an adapter, but am I allowed to play Apex legends using an adapter for my mouse and keyboard (Apex Legends isn't ready for mouse and keyboard plug and play).

    I just want to know this before I buy the adapter or even worse, before I get my console banned.

    Xim Apex console for R6S

    A Xim Apex is not officially supported on Xbox One, and some games may even suspend or ban you for using it. If you would prefer to use a keyboard and mouse for R6S then feel free to contact Ubisoft to put keyboard and mouse support in the game. https://forums.ubi.com/

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are looking to use the XIM Apex to use a mouse and keyboard to play Battlefield 5. Since this device is not licensed by Xbox it's not recommended to use it as a peripheral. Currently Xbox is working to implement keyboard
    and mouse support for most games, as of now there are a few titles that support keyboard and mouse play. For more information on this topic, check out this article:

    He's not talking about the game apex he's talking about adapters that give the player macros such as rapid fire or anti recoil. I have found no real answer from Microsoft on the subject and there are literally over hundreds of videos showing the use of the adapters. Soooo buy the Cronus zen and combo it with a xim apex and to top it off buy the all new 120fps console. all you have to do is drag your mouse to a players head and out frame them. Works best in rainbow six siege 100% of the time imagine breaking your own code of conduct by allowing such an unfair advantage in fps games...

    There is no exact answer for whether you will face suspensions while using the mouse and keyboard while playing Apex; however, Respawn entertainment do not condone that; furthermore, they are allegedly investigating methods to determine if a user is using the mouse and keyboard instead of controllers.

    Next, you need to connect the Apex up to your console.

    1. Connect the Apex dongle to a free USB port on your Xbox One.
    2. Connect the Apex hub to the Apex dongle.
    3. Connect your keyboard and mouse to the Apex hub.
    4. Connect your Xbox One controller to the Apex hub with a micro USB cable.
