Does the Xbox Series X have different broadband requirements than the Xbox One?

I have both the Series X and the Xbox One. Both are connected to the same router on the same bandwith and channel. The Xbox Series X says connected but wont run any of the services including Xbox live. While the XBox One will connect and do everything
else including online multiplayer gaming. Both are running the same setting to different results. Is there a difference in requirements on the Series X? or am I missing something. Please Help, i want to play on my new Series X.

Xbox one games don't have a s or x requirement

You are talking about 12 years difference in technology

Xbox series consoles are just series s or x

No ONE in the name

And xbox one games are just xbox one games no s or x requirement

series x has disc drive and the series s does not

smart delivery is so it downloads the content for the specific console

hence why the game case has series x and xbox one advertised on it. the disc can be used in series x and xbox one consoles, the series s does not have a drive therefore requires digital purchase.
