    Does the Series S have an internal clock battery?


    At the moment, I have a limited number of power outlets available, so I can't leave my Xbox plugged in all the time. In addition, the only wifi available in my room is an open network that requires web authentication (_The Cloud).

    I've noticed that whenever I start up the Xbox after having it unplugged, it thinks it's 2019 and I have to manually input the correct date and time in order to connect to wifi (I assume it probably needs this for some handshakes with the router).

    Question: does the Series S have an internal clock battery to keep track of the time even when unplugged (in which case mine was DOA), or is this just not something the Series S has, and I'm just going to have to deal with it?

    The Series S along with the Series X is multi-voltage which it means it works anywhere around the world.

    Is there any battery in series s (like Nintendo switch)?

    The Series S only works from a mains supply. It does not contain a battery. It must also be connected to a TV or Monitor.

    Was just thinking about something. Is it possible that since my console was set on the power save mode (stays on for updates when I am not playing) that when I unplug the power cord it loses the save?

    Hope they keep the Xbox 360 swappable battery

    PS3's battery is internal which would need the controller to be opened and replace the internal battery by buying one from the internet, more than likely it would be safer to just buy a new controller (or just play it wired).
