    I saw the new update will remove Cortana for headset... will it also remove her from Kinect? I still use her daily

    i use kinect but not have it connected at the moment, but i keep cortana de activated and just use the xbox base commands, that is all i need, if they get rid of those i will be miffed, they can only be used with kinect.

    God I hope not. I always thought the next step would be to allow any webcam to be a mic for Cortana. Xbox had Alexa before Alexa was Alexa. Works great for opening apps & games buried in the list, play/pause, record that, power on/off, playing music

    Speaking of which, removing Onedrive support from Groove was another bafflingly bad decision. MS has a real problem with killing off good features and pushing bad ones.

    You can use the Xbox Skill for Cortana via the Cortana app on iOS, Android, and Windows or via Harmon Kardon Invoke speaker to power your Xbox One, adjust volume, launch games and apps, capture screenshots, and more —just as you can do with Alexa-enabled
    devices today.
    It would seem like yes, but, if anyone from skip ahead knows I'm interested.

    we will never know if it does or not only thing im glad about she wont be used for headset anymore is because everytime I say something she pops up so this will help

    TBH, I am not fond of the voice command at all. I prefer to control things silently.
