Does the game transfer over or not

Does the progress and the levels not transfer to the new console you got the game on I had dead by daylight on Xbox before I had it on pc but my levels and progress didn’t transfer over I downloaded it on the Xbox app that’s installed on the pc so I thought that my levels and progress would transfer onto the pc but it didn’t and I have to restart from the beginning.

The game added cross-progression last year, allowing you to progress the same across both platforms, but it's a process you'll need to activate manually. Here are the steps:

1. Create or log into your Behaviour Account here:

2. Enable cross progression.

3. Select your platforms and link your platform account.

4. Sync your game progress.

The save does not transfer over. You will have to start the game again.

does anyone know how long it wouldt take to transfer around 70GB of content over using a transfer cable, also does it transfer games that have been installed from disc, or do they need to be re-installed - CHEERS!
