Does the game »Quantum Break« supports Stereoscopic 3D

Hello,

I'm thinking about buying this game. But for me it is important to play the game in stereoscopic 3D (via my 3D display). I usually use 3Dvision for this. But because the game uses Windows’ new API 3Dvision would not work (as far as I understood).

In Windows 8 it was an important part of the Windows-8-Apps, that Stereoscopic 3D would be supported natively. Therefor I wondered if this game also supports Stereoscopic Displays?

Can anyone help me here?

3D question

Call of Duty: Black Ops, can put any screen into Stereoscopic 3D too, even though a screen doesn't support 3D..

It's the TV that processes the Stereoscopic 3D images.. The game, doesn't autosense anything & the reason why, you manually turn Stereoscopic 3D on in games for the Xbox 360 to output etc...

Playing Gears of War 3 in stereoscopic 3D on an Acer HN274H, is it possible?

I bought GoW3 today hoping to play the game in stereoscopic 3D. My monitor supports stereoscopic 3d, the Acer HN274H. I have the option through the dashboard set to "Enabled" for S3D support. When I turn the game options on all I get is side by side which
my monitor does not support even though the game is advertised as being stereoscopic 3D enabled.

Am I missing something? Or is it simply not possible to play in stereo3D?

And for trouble shooting purposes I am using and HDMI 1.4a cable. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Having played the PC version of quantum break I couldn't find any 3D support at all, that and the game runs like a steaming pile as it doesn't support SLI and only upscales from 720P with no native support for 1080 didn't make me fall in love with the port
to PC at all.

Of course that may have changed if Remedy bothered to address the issues with the game.

ahh OK.. So, your problem is, it is still showing Stereoscopic images... Why not run the same full image twice & adjust the angle of projection for 3D & don't use StereoScopic 3D.. or it could be your demultiplexor, that is the problem & you will need one,
that does Stereo 3D Demultiplexing etc..

Not quite sure what you mean by 'only stereoscopic 3d'.

Stereoscopic 3d is just a system of using 2 seperate images, one for each eye, to create a 3d image, isn't it?

Assassins creed does that as does Black ops. I think Batman does too although I haven't tried it.

As for things not popping out the screen - it certainly is possible for a game to do it, but due to the way games show their 3d environment they are always more likely to look deep rather than pop out the screen.

Just been watching the young 'un doing a bit of assassins creed now actually. The 3d effect looks very good due to the nature of the game.
