So I can't play any game right now because of error 0x87e50033, and it seems like the only solution for this is a factory reset. If I do this and select "keep the game files", does it keep the save data, too? I am not sure that if my saves on the cloud or not.

    :)

Does the factory reset on X Box Series S deletes the local save data if I choose "keep the games" option?

Hi. My name is Brilliant and I am happy to assist you today.

As long as you are connected to Xbox live then all of your saves are copied to the cloud as well as saved on your console.

If you've done a reset the next time you start a game it will sync with the cloud & get your latest save.

I hope this helps resolve your query.

The accounts on my xbox seem to be getting mixed up

Hello, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

To help you resolve this issue, I suggest the following steps:

Check your account settings, go to Xbox Series S settings and navigate to the Account section. Make sure your account is set as the primary account in the console. You can also review the account details and make sure they match your desired settings, such as profile picture, email, and background.

We'll also try to sign out of your account on Xbox Series S and then sign back in. This can help update account settings and potentially resolve any sync issues.

We also tried deleting and re-adding the account: If the problem persists, you can try deleting your Xbox Series S account and then re-add it. This process will require you to sign in again with your account credentials and may help reset any incorrect settings.

Finally you can try resetting the console to factory settings: if the above steps do not solve the problem, you may need to perform a factory reset on your Xbox Series S. This will restore the console to its original settings and remove all accounts and data. . Please note that performing a factory reset will delete all locally saved data, so be sure to back up all important files before proceeding.

Here's how you can do it:

    1. On the Xbox Series S Home screen, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Navigate to the profile picture in the top-left corner and select it.
    3. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
    4. In the Settings menu, choose the "System" tab.
    5. Select "Console Info" and then "Reset console."
    6. Choose between the options "Reset and remove everything" or "Reset and keep my games & apps" based on your preference. The former will remove all data, while the latter will keep your installed games and apps.
    7. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the factory reset and initiate the process.

Remember, performing a factory reset should only be done as a last resort, as it will remove all locally saved data on the console.

    I hope this helps.
    Best regards.

What going on with Xbox series x controllers?

    Thank you for the information.

I just want to confirm, does the drifting error only occurs to an Xbox series controller or are you referring to multiple Xbox series controllers that you owned?

If the error occurs to multiple Xbox series controllers, there could be an issue with the console software.

Kindly perform a factory reset keep my games and apps to delete all corrupted data on your console's Operating System.

Before we proceed with your Factory reset I just want to inform you that you will only choose Reset and keep my games and apps to make sure your saved data won't be deleted permanently and also all of the accounts that are set as home Xbox will be removed and all signed in accounts will be signed out from the console.

If you’re ready to reset your console to the factory default settings, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It resets the OS and deletes all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Once it's done, check if the Xbox series controller/s are now working.

[Xbox Series S] Horrible Stutter on Certain Games (After Plugging In Old Hard Drive?)

Hi, thank you for your reply

I have tried all of these already bar the blu-ray option, which I can't access as I'm on a Series S.

    So far I have tried:

    - Disconnecting the hard drive I suspected to have been the issue

    - Clearing all save data (local and cloud, so I can't resync save data as it does not exist for Subnautica)

    - Removing my account followed by a hard reset and unplugging

    - Several other hard resets and unplugging the console

    - Factory resetting my console

    Thank you for your help

Xbox saying I need to 'buy a copy of a game' (Battlefront 2) I've already bought and paid for digitally

    Hi There, thank you.

It says "Choose the plan that's right for you" (Xbox Live Gold/ X Box Game pass)

I have tried a soft reset/hard reset reinstalling and deleting the gamer tag and logging back in - same problem

It will allow me to play as guest - but when I try to play as my profile, it reverts back to telling to"choose a plan...'

also tried deleting the local app data and rebooting.
