Does sender of a game Gift Code appear on Xbox when redeemed there?

I'm looking for anyone who knows exactly what appears on an Xbox One screen these days when one is sent a Gift Code (not card) for a specific game and redeems it directly on the Xbox One.

Specifically, does the Sender of the code appear in any way?

Use case: I bought some games for the kids via MS Store. I had to buy them as gifts so they didn't download immediately so I could give them for Christmas. Now Santa is going to give some of those codes instead of me.

What I don't want ... The kid enters the Gift Code for FIFA18 and the Xbox responds with something like, "Daddy sent this to you!" (a Sender Name I used when I sent it to my own email address) or, "This was purchased by <my email address>. Send a thank you
message!"

If the Sender is shown on screen, I'll just make sure I redeem them on my app or something else.

I just need to know how Santa should handle this ASAP. Thanks!!!

When you send a game to a friend as a gift, you can not redeem the code. It says this: Contact the seller to get a code that works in your region.

This code was purchased in another region and can not be redeemed.

Yeah, thanks, but I'm talking about on the Xbox at time of redemption, like the scenario I laid out. This is about a kid whose email address I control, and I sent it to my own email address anyway.

When you purchase a gift for a friend the system asks for a delivery point either an email address or gamer tag, The system then sends a 25 digit redeem code to that delivery point. It does not check if the recipient already has the game or if they are
in the same region as the sender. That is down to you as the customer and purchaser to check.

As the recipient already has the game in this case it is down to the purchaser/ the person who sent the gift to issue a refund claim.

I'm really sorry, in order for the gift code to work, the sender and the receiver of the gift code should be in the same region. You will get an error when you try redeeming a gift code from a different region.
