Does Retrieving an old 360 World Update it and give it new features such as the end?

pretty much what it says in the title now i made the map the first day minecraft 360 edition came out and explored very little of the map and then left it when i got an Xbox one i retrieved the world and set the world size to large and didnt overwrite world
edges i went to the nether and it has been updated but i had never went to the nether on the world when it was on the 360 so im not so sure...

In short - would the newly generated terrain have spawned in an end portal or do i need to create a new world?

After Updates, Will I Have To Start From Scratch?

Honestly, having played the PC version since Beta, I was expecting this to occur a few times after release, before I even purchased the 360 version. Not that it helps, but it is what it is. It's just the nature of the world-generating engine.

this! you still will have new mobs and new crafting features in your old world. only the terrain wont update because its allready generated by an older version.

 

Lost worlds, skin packs, and texture packs for minecraft on the 360

When I got the new title update for Xbox 360 Minecraft, all of my worlds, purchased skin packs and texture packs were deleted. I managed to get my texture packs as well as skin packs back, but we are still working on retrieving the lost worlds.
