    So basically I have a subscription to Xbox live gold for 12 months, but I'm quite close to redeeming a 1 month of ultimate via the Microsoft rewards system. I know that if you upgrade to ultimate from gold, all your months left on gold get converted to
    ultimate, but I'm wondering if the same happens when you redeem a month of ultimate, as appose to buying into it. Any info on that?

    I have a related question. I had xbox hame pass ultimate but it recently expired and as there were no interesting games out, i reverted to Xbox live gold for 12 months. Now my question is

    If i again try and sign up for game pass ultimate how does it work. I have 12 months of gold, does i get it converted again to ultimate lime the initial offer or am I charged a monthly over and above the remaining months (as it says it will convert gold
    upto 36 months)

    If You Get Game Pass Ultimate It Will Convert Your Xbox Live Gold 1 Year Into Game Pass Ultimate For The Remaining Time Left On Your Year Subscription. So For Example If You Have Xbox Live Gold Paid For A Year And You Upgrade To Game Pass Ultimate It Will Convert It To One Year Game Pass Ultimate Or However Many Months You Have Left Of Your Subscription.

    (Make Sure It Says Upgrade To Game Pass Ultimate So It Will Convert Your Gold To Game Pass)

    If you haven't used Ultimate before, purchasing Ultimate will convert your remaining Live Gold to Ultimate + the duration of Ultimate you add.

    To clarify, you have 8 months of Live Gold left. If you purchase one month of Ultimate, you'll get 9 months of Ultimate on your account.
