Does my controller broken?

I've been using xbox one wireless controller about 2 years.

I have problem using it when playing dark souls 3 and sekiro: shadow dies twice, and in same problem.

In dark souls, 'B' key is for step/running/evasion, 'A' key is for interaction such as talking to NPC, LB key is for guarding attack.

When I play, I press B to run, then running and guarding is happening at the same time. It happens to when I try to evade enemy's attack and my character guards. Also, when I press 'A' to talk to NPC, my character attacks them. This is a serious problem
in gaming.

Same thing happens in sekiro. I press B to run, then character does not run but starts to guard.

It never happened before than last week, but suddenly it happens this week.

Also this is not the problem for game, since it never happens when I use keyboard and mouse.

I changed the key setting between 'A' and 'B', and same thing happened again, 'A' starts to attack.

How does it affect my console if it's the controller that's broken

In order to figure out, I initialized key mapping in both steam and game.

I didn't see any problem in Ace combat 7 or monster hunter world.

I saw problem in Sekiro and Dark souls 3.

There's no probability.

I live alone. Also I checked using Xbox accessory app. Pressing A tells only A and B tells only B.

Using other controller test apps from microsoft store was same too.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller.

Have you had a chance to test an alternate controller? Perhaps it might be worth re-installing these titles to see if this will alleviate what seems to be a bug.

Alternatively, If these options do not work for you, The only other option might be to

create a Service Order for your accessory.

Go ahead and try these suggestions, and let us know if these work for you, but if these are unable to resolve this matter, then it could be an issue with the controller itself.
