Does microsoft warranty still count if my controller shell broken?

Sent controller in for replacement.

Microsoft keeps sending me broken controllers.

Latest controller is broken.

Microsoft won't replace because it's past the warranty.

Even though I never received a working controller.

Microsoft is not honoring warranty.

Sent broken controllers instead of working ones until warranty expired.

Hope that's short enough, lol. I should have made a summary of the issue in the beginning. My bad. Was frustrated and wanted to detail everything so people know exactly where I'm coming from.

you could check if there is still warranty for that controller, please see the steps on this support page on how to set up a repair for a controller:

When setting up a replacement/repair request it will also show if the device is still within warranty or not.Duration of warranty might be different per region.

Microsoft does not repair controllers since it is cheaper to replace them.

Do you just want the shell/ case? If so try a broken or banned Console on Ebay or some other source. That is, if it does not matter if it works or not.

If that's still too much, try Papier-mâché.

If it is purely cosmetic (thumb sticks, shells etc) I don't think Microsoft really care but modifications to the circuit board would be seen as frowned apon. Obviously opening a controller voids the warranty.
