and as COD is hosted on Activisions own servers and not Microsoft then it is up to Activision to monitor for them and ban them. Microsoft cannot see anything happening on Activisions servers or that of any third party game from any other company.

He's talking about hardware items, such as a Cronus Zen that can be bought, plugged in, programmed via PC, then used with controllers to gain unfair advantages against other players. It's gotten too easy to obtain these items as they're relatively cheap, and a lot of players use it, most notably from aim-snapping, no recoil, increased aim assist strength, even automatic firing capabilities on weapons that are semi-automatic be default, shooting faster than the game mechanics originally allow.

The sad part is that too many players get away with it and this is why major games like Apex Legends are dying out. This needed to be fixed years ago.

Like minded people don't mean closest friends. They can be anywhere in the world. Report cheaters no matter how they are cheating. Cheating is Cheating. How is Microsoft supposed to take action if they don't get reports on those that are cheating using
any method?

as you are playing on ea servers then it takes time for microsoft to request any info from them regarding in game cheating as microsoft don't have access to ea servers to check themselves.
