Does Microsoft have a trade in option to upgrade for Xbox One S?

Hello,

So I bought my console at the end of last year an Xbox One Elite and I was inquiring information to see if Xbox offered any upgrade program?

I talked to some of the xbox ambassadors said yes it depends on having a gold membership, having a variety of games and a certain gamerscore. That gave me some hope but at the same time it raised a red flag when they wanted me to hand over my account information
along with my password (which it clearly states not to when initiating the chat)

I just want to know if it would be possible. I imagine there should be...

Will we ever see the Xbox One Elite Controller get Bluetooth installed into it? If yes, will owners of the current Elite controllers get the option to trade in or upgrade for a reasonable price?

Activision notes specific retailers have different upgrade programs. GameStop Power Up Rewards members have until December 31, 2013 to trade in their Xbox 360 copy for the Xbox One for just $9.99. Amazon is giving you $25 bonus credit towards your Xbox One
version in addition to your trade-in value of at least $25. Best Buy has a lengthy process that will ultimately result in a $9.99 upgrade.

if u buy digital than yes but if retail seems like you will have to trade in and will cost you 10 dollars.

Even if they did it would be open to everyone,it certainly wouldn't be down to having gold,a certain Gamerscore or certain amount of games.

These ambassadors who asked for your account info,i do hope you reported them as an ambassador should never ever ask for that info.

You should check your local game shops as they may have some sort of trade in deals going.

 

Currently there is no official trade in option for Xbox One S, however certain retailers may offer such option.

 

How can I report them? I wasn't able to realize the intent until I was given an email to reach out, to see if I qualified after the chat session was already over.

 

If you remember their names I would pm a official support staff member.

You can tell them by their forum gamercards.Their level will be S & it will say "official staff" on them.

Their gamertags start with a Mister,Misses or Miss.
