    I've ordered an Xbox one s all digital edition and am now thinking that maybe it would've been a better idea to purchase an alternative version that has a CD drive. Should I make the switch for an extra £50? I'm saying this because the digital games seem generally more expensive than the hard copies.

    It is unfortunate I agree. I think the official drives are cheaper now at least. I know it is a lot of money to spend to play one XBox original game, but in the long run it will be a good investment since the official drives from MS will probably last longer
    than the cheaper 3rd party drives.

    It is supposably going to be just a standard xbox one s without the disc drive, It;s also supposed to be cheaper than an xbox one s aswell.

    Yeah,the digital xbox one s is really aimed at first time buyers of this gen or people who have gone completely digital with their games.

    If you have a load of disc copies of games that you want to play then paying a little more for a xbox one s with a disc drive would be cheaper in the long run if you factor in the cost of having to buy digital versions of the games you have on disc.
