Does increasing toxicity make me more vulnerable to attacks?

It might just be all in my head, but sometimes I think enemy attacks deal even more damage when my toxicity bar is above 0. If my toxicity meter is just a bit over 0 I don't notice any difference in enemy attacks but sometimes I swear if my toxicity bar
is over half full, an enemy attack deals twice as much damage than it normally would. Is there damage scaling on enemy attacks when my toxicity is too high? Thank you

Thanks, but i checked that, the only negative effect i have is from the apprentice stone which makes me more vulnerable to mage

Crown of Dusk doesn't halve your HP. You're thinking of the Dusk Crown Ring, which gives you more spell uses (charges?), not the headpiece with the crooked feathers. The Crown of Dusk boosts your Sorceries, Miracles and Pyromancies by 20% but it does
make you more vulnerable to magic.

There does seem to be an increasing number of dragon encounters as I advance but I have no problem. I was more concerned about the random cave bear that attacked me as I was taking on TWO dragons! Damn bear.

I prefer to believe the more famous I become as a dragonslayer the more dragons come looking for me the way a gunslinger's fame attracts stupid.. I mean daring challengers.

I NEED to learn smithing dragon armor. I've had two dragons attack Lakemore Manor and they just make it easy for me to store the bones.

When encountering toxic players who are directly attacking you, please make sure you are reporting the behavior. Never engage the toxic player, simply report, mute and block. The Xbox Enforcement team will take it from there.

Also, it's not really a shove attack. It's a guard breaker for when an opponent is blocking and opens them up for attack, but is slow and you are highly vulnerable during it.
