Does DLC work for games you "Rent" at Gamefly?

Seems like I read somewhere that certain DLC packages would not work with game rentals from

places like Gamely. I know the games from Gamefly are different because I traded one in at Gamestop

and they couldn't find it based on the coding on the disk. Then, they asked me if this was a Gamefly Rental

Game. I still was able to trade it in at no loss in value. But, I didn't realize Gamefly disks were different than

the normal retail disks I buy at stores.

Their games aren't any different. They sell them used after a while. If they sold them used and people weren't able to purchase any further content for that game, there'd be no point in buying it. You will be fine. The discs are the same.

I think it has already been confirmed that they are doing away with Microsoft Points. Second of all, you do not seem to know how Gamefly works. It would run just like Netflix. You still pay your monthly bill through Gamefly, just like Netflix. The
money wouldn't go to Microsoft. You go into the app and you can rent a game digitally for as long as you want but can't rent others until you are finished with the ones you currently have.

Sorry for the double post: but what would be GREAT is if Microsoft comes to some sort of partnership with Gamefly and creates an app for the Xbox One that allows Gamefly users to rent games digitally from Gamefly. That would be awesome. With the Cloud service,
larger HDD and improved Xbox Live servers, that could work wonderfully.
