Does Destiny Feel or Shot Like Halo? Because If It Does........

........I'm probably going to get my *** kicked. I love Halo and really want Destiny. But, over the years I got really bad at it, like.5 k/d when I stopped playing in 2008. Since then I've played BattleField and enjoyed a k/d anywhere from 2.5 to my current
1.4 in across the series. Be honest, am I going to get ***? The 90 dollar buy-in for all content is alot just to throw my controller at my TV.

Originally I was gonna post this to the Microsoft forums, but it seems that both Windows 10 and Xbox forums are the same thing.

I might know the reason why Xbox One isn't doing so well lately, its because lack of promotions, commercials and advertisements, like an example, when I go to the city or watch TV, I hardly see any Xbox promotions, commercials and advertisements anywhere,
most of the time its either Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4 commercials, promotions and advertisements I see, but I wondering why I just hardly seen any Xbox advertisements. I wonder if its the same thing in NA.

Because back in 2009 and 10 I saw quite a lot of Xbox 360 commercials on TV, and of course in stores, since it was popular, but Xbox One where's the advertisements for it?





The only advertisements and commercials from a Microsoft product I see sometimes is Surface Pro, but that's a laptop/computer.

So what do you think.

I was wondering if anybody feel like doing a group play night today, any games like Elder scrolls online, Neverwinter, destiny, minecraft, or elite dangerous is good with me. Also why does my forum avatar pic doesn't update to current? If anybody knows.

 

Destiny plays and feels like halo. with a mmo element. you can either play co-op, story mode. or COD/BF style. the pvp is a separate aspect of the game. called crucible and there are 4 different game modes just for it. and when in doubt just get the standard
version until the add ons come out and save some money.

Above statement is not necessarily true, I like BF but I also like Destiny pvp. Destiny is similar to Halo but it has a good bit of differences if you have any game rental places or options you might want to try it. I'm sorta decent at Halo but I'm struggling
in Destiny's pvp so your mileage may vary. The differences such as infinite grenades with a cool-down period after each, selecting your loadout and other things might help you or hurt you no telling.

 

i also like BF4 pvp and destiny PVP the maps are all medium sized, larger then COD, smaller then a large conquest maps on BF4 .it's a good balance. the 3 classes makes ita change of pace. not alot in the way of gun customizations but i never relied on those
anyways. and withe job abilities makes its pretty fun. and you don't have to worry about someone flying a jet into you cause they cant shoot you lol. you get to carry 3 weapons instead of 2. and can switch them out anytime. got to love that

 

Well if you played BF for kills you didn't really understand the game very well. Guessing by your name that is what you were there for. So yea, you will prolly just get annihilated in a game where other people are also ONLY looking for kills. Save your money

this is the truth!

 

Destiny multiplayer feels like Halo multiplayer with overpowered special powers. Halo hopping with increased health.

I love BF and COD. I'm not a big fan of Halo. I can already tell I'm not going to be able to get into competitive destiny MP.

As soon as I get on a decent streak a wizard shoots a lightening bolt in my general direction and I evaporate. Don't ever attempt to take on multiple enemies with just your gun. If you are capping a flag be prepared to be lightening bolted.

Maybe when I get some better gear I will go back into MP...but for now I'm absolutely loving Co-op.

 

i take more shotguns to the face. then lighting lol. or a good melee *** smack
