Does Data transfer from Disc Version on Xbox if you purchase the PC Version?

I have bought an Xbox Disc Version of Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition. I want to play it on my PC. I know I can only play it on my Xbox Console since it is a Disc Version. It will not download the PC version for free on the Xbox Play Anywhere site, I get that.

So my question is: Can I buy the Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition on PC and have it sync/pick up where I left off with my saved progress on the Xbox Console Disc Version of Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition?

That way I don't have to pay for the Premium Edition again or start all over again on a brand new game.

The save files, and the DLC should both be cross compatible, assuming you buy the Windows Store version or use GamePass

Hi, Sorry, but you are wrong about that, you can transfer your data to the full version no matter where you purchase the game from. It's the same game, and has the same updates. It doesn't matter if you purchase the disc or the digital version, the saved
data will always work with it.

i got the pc version, it would be so frickin cool if you could transfer data for minecraft from pc to xbox

Hi, You have to purchase the pass again for the PC version. The pass does not transfer over to another version of the game, no matter which device you play it on.

You would have to purchase the PC version of the game in order to play it on PC, which is not available through the Microsoft store. Progress from the console cannot be transferred to the PC version.
